iiSi Operations during the COVID-19 Outbreak

We’d like to take this opportunity to connect with our business partners to detail our plans for continued operations during this time of unprecedented challenges.

Consistent with businesses nationwide, iiSi’s first priority is the health and welfare of its employees.

Additionally, our attention has been focused on constructing an operational plan that will ensure our highest level of service in accordance with Orders instituted by Local, State and Federal authorities. For example, California’s enforcement of a “Shelter in Place” Order (No. C19-07) instituted by the California Department of Public Health, dated March 16, 2020.

As suggested by the Order, providing employees the means to work from home is the most responsible way to conduct business during this public health pandemic. As of today, all but a select few (who provide essential business functions that require on-site work) have transitioned to successfully working from remote locations.

Our modified operation is in alignment with the Insurance Commissioner of California’s request that “Insurance operations make all reasonable attempts to provide claims and other services during the Shelter in Place order”.

Therefore we’re confident that our business partners should notice little to no difference in the majority of day-to-day operations.

Transitioning to a revised workflow revealed a way in which our partners can further streamline iiSi’s operation. For those who have not yet migrated to an ACH / electronic media format, please consider doing so. Eliminating the need for physical mediums such as checks, and printed reports would allow us to conduct business more efficiently. Of course this is not required, however we would appreciate each business partner considering our request.

Lastly, we have received a number of coverage questions. We are constructing a comprehensive statement that should address the vast majority of concerns. Please anticipate distribution of this communication within the next 2-3 business days.
